This accordion-fold blank book is ideal for use as a sketchbook or as the basis for an art project. The pages of the accordion are a heavy fine-art paper (250 gsm Arches white cover weight). The covers are made from book board covered with a Sevenberry cotton Dobby fabric that I convert into book cloth by adding a layer of mulberry paper to the back to prevent glue from seeping through the weave.

Accordion books make excellent, innovative sketchbooks because the artist can think in terms of a single page, a two-page spread, or the full length of the unfolded book.

Individual pages are 6” H x 4.5” W; each page spread is 6” x 9”; the full front side of the open accordion is 6” x 45” and the rear surface is 6” x 54”.
