This is a light, delicate accordion-fold blank book to be used as a sketchbook or as the basis for an art project. The pages of the accordion are a soft, natural kozo paper (Awagami kitakata), perfect for brush calligraphy with sumi ink. The covers are made from matt board covered with a printed decorative paper.

Accordion books make excellent, innovative sketchbooks because the artist can think in terms of a single page, a two-page spread, or the full length of the unfolded book.

Individual pages are 8” H x 5” W; each page spread is 8” x 10”; the full, open accordion is 8” x 80”.
